Sillfield Farm Products
Sillfield Farm is home to Wild Boar, Rare Breed Pigs, Herdwick sheep and pedigree poultry, all Free Range. The owners are Peter and Christine Gott, who have been running the farm for sixteen years.

Sillfield Farm produces some of the finest farm products in the country, supplies top London restaurants and has received numerous awards. Fans include Jamie Oliver and Prince Charles.

Jamie Oliver sends students from his restaurant Fifteen to Sillfield Farm every year, where they are shown how the animals are reared and taught the importance of using quality ingredients in their cooking. See the website.

Keer Falls Forest Farm

Established in 1986, this is an organic, permaculture, forest farm managed to Soil Association standards.

The forest provides shelter and fodder for the livestock as well as being a haven for wildlife. Produce includes organic beef, lamb and mutton and free range duck. The forest also produces good quality timber and fire wood; all can be delivered locally.

Choco-Lori

Choco-lori is a small business run from home in the village of Grimsargh producing contemporary and unique homemade chocolate products.
All products are free from additives, preservatives and are made using free range eggs from the local farm and some of the finest ingredients, resulting in truly indulgent chocolate treats for every occasion. Savin Hill Farm
This small family business, based in the beautiful Lyth Valley, South Lakeland, specialises in farming and procuring specific traditional and rare breeds including Pedigree Middle White Pigs, British Saddleback Pigs and British White Cattle.

Savin Hill are also suppliers of British White Beef from other UK breeders. The range of foods includes fresh cuts of meat, delicious pork pies, award winning sausages and dry cured products. The produce is artificial additive free, all made and prepared at Savin Hill by a craftsman butcher.

This shop offers crafts as well as food including pork, beef and lamb from animals raised on the farm, in fact most are actually born there too! Also a very wide range of produce from neighbouring and local farming families who also have extremely high quality goods to offer but are not always in a position to market it themselves. Naturally the same produce goes to make the wonderful meals in the cafe.
