Chris Pickering Photography
Based in Kendal, Chris is a Landscape photographer with a difference, looking for scenes within scenes, offering a more abstract view of the local countryside. Also extremes of light and shadow are used to inject moods into a picture.

Chris Fox is the turner and wood worker operating from the 18c Silk Mill in Galgate.

Plantagenet Reproductions
are based in Lancaster and manufacture bespoke wrought ironwork, medieval cloaks and clasps and much more.

Anne runs Hutton Roof Post Office and small shop. Here you can find many examples of Anne's own handiwork, particularly in art and photography. Anne also stocks books by local authors and about local topics such as David Raw's biography of Rev. T.B. Hardy, V.C.,D.S.O.,M.C.
Nancy and Tracey's Jewellery
Nancy and Tracey, based in Kendal, love making their unique and original beaded jewelelry and wire work and they have a great selection to choose from.
Each piece is hand made but you will find they are excellent value.
Joan's Country Keepsakes
Joan Garrett, based in Millness, makes lovely New England/Shaker inspired message hearts and wall hangings which can also be personalised.

Christmas decorations, ginger bread people, garlands, wall hangings, boxes and other decorative items all make lovely gifts, especially for a Mum or a special friend.
Mary Dixie Quilts
From Bolton-le-Sands, Mary makes all types of patchwork quilts from double bed to pin cushion size, in all sorts of colours and designs.
Traditional or contemporary, each one is different. You can order any size of patchwork quilt in your own choice of size, colour and design.
Mary also makes many smaller items such as needle cases, pin cushions, pot holders and small purses for make up etc. See more details and pictures on the website.
Pendragon Crafts
Kim Seymour and Rachel Bates are based in Nateby near Kirkby Stephen. They produce wonderful handmade jewellry using gold, silver and semi-precious stones.
Their nature inspired designs are also produced as cards and t-shirts and they also do original garden ornaments.
You can usually catch them at Orton Farmers Market on the second Saturday of the Month.
Marilyn Edwards - Author
Marilyn is resident in Hutton Roof and is the author of the The Cats on Hutton Roof and The Coach House Cats which continue the popular tales of The Cats of Moon Cottage.

You can purchase individualy dedicated copies of her books on line from her website or at Kirkby Lonsdale Institute on Saturday 6th September 2008.

Michelle makes hand crafted jewellery for all occasions.
All handmade/bespoke jewellery pieces are handcrafted from scratch.

From Farleton near Crooklands,
Steven does original pen and ink drawings of your favourite local landmarks. You can buy cards, notelets and prints as well as originals. Regular subjects include all the churches in the Rainbow Parish.
You can commision an original drawing of your house, or a special place such as the church where you were married. Or commision one as an original wedding anniversary gift. Originals may be completed in as little as 2 weeks, but book early for Christmas!

Based in the north of the county, Liz Riley and Debra Esterhuizen make hand-felted items such as cushions, bags, jewellery, cards and ornaments using merino wool.
